In about one hundred thirty years, the breed has gone through tremendous changes in their looks and in their functions. But the Yorkshire Terrier has adapted to the great changes that the Industrial Revolution brought to the economy and to family life. A bloodhound and mastiff mix. Can you imagine? These beautiful mastiff dogs can sniff out something as well as being as gentle as possible. They are originally from Brazil and have the original name of Fila Brasileiro. When they were first around, they were made to watch out for the plantations, then they were later brought to the United States by a group called the Conquistadors.

Teacup Chihuahuas, despite of their tiny size, are a very robust type of dog. If you compare them to other tiny breeds, they are physically quite steady and very healthy compared to the others. If you are an owner of a Teacup Chihuahuas, it means you have a good companion in your life. Although Teacup Chihuahuas are good watchdogs and usually bark really loud when strangers come to your home. You don’t have to hire a professional photographer to get professional looking Yorkshire Terrier pictures. You can use a costly 35 mm. SLR camera or a disposable 35 mm camera from the grocery store to take pictures of your Yorkshire Terrier, but a digital camera works even better because it gives you the option of deleting your bad shots instead of paying to have them processed and printed. With digital cameras, you get instant results. Digital cameras are far more environmentally friendly than disposable cameras. Processing film from disposable cameras requires great quantities of water and chemicals that harm the environment.

The Havanese is a cute and compact dog, weighing in anywhere from seven to fifteen pounds and standing at a height of eight to eleven inches. This dog is generally sweet natured and eager to please, making it a good choice for most families. With its small size, these puppies can work well in an apartment as well as a house, as long as they are walked regularly. Because of its intelligence, the Havanese puppy will often be relatively easy to train.

Just because a photo of a dog says that it’s a Pomeranian picture doesn’t mean the dog in the photo will be a good representation of Pomeranians. Unfortunately, because of their extreme popularity in the last century, Pomeranians have been bred for quantity rather than quality. Since they are small and portable, they are make excellent stock for puppy mills and unscrupulous dog breeders. Lovers of Pomeranians know this. When they see a picture labeled as a Pomeranian, they want a good example of a Pomeranian looking back at them.
